Superior rooms feature air-conditioning, personal tea and coffee making facilities, larger desk space, as well as flat screen televisions, L-shaped day bed couches, big sliding doors with Juliet balconies, and bathrooms with large walk-in showers.
Chalets
Protea Hotel Kruger Gate has 7, six-sleeper, fully equipped self catering chalets - ‘thatched havens’ located in the hotels’ private reserve. Each chalet is fully serviced and has two luxury en suite bedrooms, one upper - loft bedroom, a spacious lounge area, DSTV, self-contained kitchen, and private outdoor braai area.
The chalets are in close proximity to the hotel’s restaurants. Bushveld dining offers a buffet style breakfast in the Kudyela Restaurant whilst an A la carte lunch is served on the hotel’s unique wooden sundeck. Dine under diamond bright stars at the open air Lapa restaurant, and sample the sumptuous array of buffet dishes including potjies of fragrant delicacies.
