This tall town house is on the main drive into town it was totally renovated in 1980 and has been upgraded recently to give the Carlton the edge on its rival hotel a few meters nearer Arch 22.

There are 40 double rooms, all with showers. Some have air conditioning.
Dining
A garden bar, but no alcohol in this hotel which has many local Gambian dignitaries and ministers staying is much nicer than the ground floor reception room and restaurant.
