  1. Day 1: Bissau, Guinea – Bissau

    Arrive in Bissau where you will be met, assisted, and transferred to your hotel.

  2. Day 2: Bissau City Tour

    After breakfast, begin your city tour of Bissau. Highlights include the National Museum, the Mercado (Central Market), The old colonial center of Bissau Velho, and Porto Pidjiguiti.

  3. Day 3: Bissau – Quinhamel

    After breakfast, drive to Quinhamel, for fishing in the Mar Azul. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Afterward, go on a fishing trip with local fishermen. Enjoy a picnic lunch and return to your hotel in Quinhamel.

  4. Day 4: Quinhamel – Bissau – Depart

    The land now known as Guinea-Bissau was once the kingdom of GabĂº, part of the larger Malian Empire. The first European to arrive in Guinea-Bissau was the Portuguese explorer Nuño TristĂ£o in 1446. Later, the Portuguese in the Cape Verde Islands obtained trading rights to the territory, and it became a centre of the Portuguese slave trade. In 1974, Gabu gained its independence from Portugal, and the new republic took the name Guinea-Bissau.
    After breakfast, enjoy a short tour of Quinhamel and then transfer to Bissau in time for your onward flight.
