  2. Day 2: MORNING VISIT TO TRIPOLI – AFTERNOON FLIGHT TO BENGHAZI (1-HOUR FLIGHT)

    After breakfast, depart to explore Tripoli, visit the fish market and the archaeological museum, which features exceptional mosaics, sculptures from Leptis Magna, and bas-reliefs from the Arch of Septimius Severus.

    Lunch in the Medina.

    In the afternoon, discover the Arch of Marcus Aurelius, ancient mosques, the Clock Tower, the Green Square, 1st September Street, the Italian Quarter with Algeria Square, and the new mosque. Evening flight from Tripoli to Benghazi.

    Transfer from the airport, then dinner and overnight stay.

  3. Day 3: BENGHAZI TO TOKKRAH, POLOMAIS, GSAR LIBYA, AND AL-BAYDHA (240 KM)

    Depart towards Benghazi, located in the Cyrenaica region, which was colonized by the Greeks in the 7th century BC.

    Continue to Ptolemais.

    Lunch.

    In the afternoon, visit the archaeological site, which includes the largest cisterns in Africa and Roman villas with well-preserved mosaics.

    Continue to Apollonia.

    Check-in at Hotel El Manara.

  4. Day 4: VISIT TO CYRENA AND APOLLONIA (60 KM)

    After breakfast, take a scenic walk through the lush African Greece, following the stories of Apollo, the nymph Cyrene, King Battos who came from Santorini, and other historical figures. Discover the giant Temple of Zeus, the Palace, the Street of King Battos with its colonnade, the Agora with the Tholos of Demeter, and the Monument to Naval Victory.

    A winding path through the flowering scrubland leads to the Sanctuary of Apollo. Explore the temples, theater, and altars, noting the Roman additions like baths and amphitheater, while still retaining a Greek atmosphere.

    Lunch during the visit.

    Return to Apollonia, where the Byzantine remains dominate the Cipollini columns of the churches overlooking the sea.

  5. Day 5: APOLLONIA – BENGHAZI (250 KM) FLIGHT FROM BENGHAZI TO TRIPOLI (1-HOUR FLIGHT)

    Depart towards Benghazi, crossing the green landscapes of El Djebal Al Akhdhar.

    Stop to visit the Qasr Libya Museum, then continue to Benghazi.

    Lunch en route, then fly back to Tripoli.

  6. Day 6: TRIPOLI – LEPTIS MAGNA – TRIPOLI (250 KM)

    After breakfast, depart to explore Leptis Magna, known as the “African Rome” and the birthplace of Emperor Septimius Severus.

    Visit the triumphal arch, the baths of Hadrian, the forum with Medusa’s heads, the basilica with its finely chiseled pillars, the market, the theater, and other key sites. Lunch during the visit.

    Continue exploring Leptis Magna in the afternoon, then return to Tripoli.

    Free time for dinner in Tripoli.

    Overnight stay at the hotel.

  7. Day 7: TRIPOLI – SABRATHA – TRIPOLI (150 KM)

    After breakfast, depart for Sabratha, the westernmost of the three cities of Tripolitania.

    Explore Sabratha, which was a Phoenician stopover, later a Carthaginian trading post, and eventually became Roman. Visit the forum, the theater, and the baths, adorned with mosaics and marble. The theater’s stage wall, with its hundred marble columns and intricate bas-reliefs, is a masterpiece.

    Lunch in Sabratha.

    Visit the museum with interesting mosaics and other artifacts.

    Return to Tripoli in the evening.
