  1. Day 1: ARRIVAL AT TRIPOLI AIRPORT

    Welcome and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay

  2. Day 2: MORNING FLIGHT TRIPOLI -SEBHA – IDHEN MORZUQ – MATHENDUSH
    (250 KM/ 1 HOUR FLIGHT/ 4 HOURS DRIVE WITH 4WD)

    After breakfast, flight TRIPOLI_ SEBHA 1 Hour. Meet the drivers and cooks who will accompany you on
    your 4WD journey.
    Depart for Murzuq, a small town in the middle of the desert. Visit
    the local market.
    Lunch, then start the Saharan journey via the track to Idhan Murzuq, a vast ocean of dunes.
    Continue by 4×4 to Mathendoush.

  3. Day 3 &4 : MATHENDOUSH – AKAKUS (300 KM/ 5 HOURS DRIVE WITH 4WD)

    Breakfast at the campsite.
    Depart at 8:00 a.m. towards Akakus. Discover the paintings and enjoy a lunch prepared in Situ.
    Explore the Akakus Mountains, extending north from the Algerian border, renowned for their
    prehistoric rock art. In the evening, gather around the campfire to enjoy the desert silence and
    starry skies.
    Dinner and overnight stay at the campsite.

  4. Day 5: AKAKUS – GARAMA – TEKERKIBA – ERG UBARI (410 KM/ TOTAL TIME 5
    HOURS WITH 4WD)

    Continue visiting the rock paintings across the mountain ranges.

    Lunch, then head through the town of Al Awaynat to the main road towards the East.

    Pass through the lush Wadi Al Hayah (Valley of Life), stopping at Garama to visit the ancient city of the Garamantes.

    Camp and dinner at Tekerkiba at the foot of the Erg Ubari.

  5. Day 6: : ERG UBARI – THE LAKES – SEBHA (200 KM/2 HOURS 30 MIN) –
    EVENING FLIGHT SEBHA – TRIPOLI (1-HOUR FLIGHT)

    Breakfast at the campsite.

    Depart at 8:00 a.m. to explore the desert lakes of Mandara, Oum El Ma, and Mafu.

    Lunch at Gabraoun, with the possibility to swim in the Salt Lake.

    In the afternoon, return to Sebha through the dunes, then by road (approximately 180 km)

    Dinner in Sebha, then take the evening flight to Tripoli.

  6. Day 7: TRIPOLI – LEPTIS MAGNA – TRIPOLI (250 KM/ 3 HOURS)

    Breakfast at the hotel.

    Depart at 8:00 a.m. for a full day visit to Leptis Magna, the grand “African Rome” of Emperor Septimius Severus. Explore the magnificent triumphal arch, Hadrian’s Baths, the Forum, the Market, the Theater, the Ancient Port, and the Circus. Lunch during the visit.

    Return to Tripoli around 5:00 p.m.

    Special dinner at a local restaurant.

    Overnight stay at the hotel.

  7. Day 8: TRIPOLI – SABRATHA – TRIPOLI (150 KM/1 HOUR 30 MIN)

    Breakfast at the hotel.

    Visit the Archaeological Museum in Tripoli. Afterwards, depart for the archaeological site of Sabratha. Lunch.

    This site, once a simple Phoenician stopover, became a Carthaginian trading post and eventually a Roman city. Explore the lavish villas, public and private baths, and the magnificent theater with its pavonazzetto columns and pulpitum adorned with intricate bas-reliefs.

    Return to Tripoli for dinner and overnight stay.

  8. Day 9: TRIPOLI

    Breakfast at the hotel.

    Explore the Libyan capital, including the fish market, the archaeological museum, and the historical sites such as the Arch of Marcus Aurelius, ancient mosques, the Clock Tower, the Green Square, and the Italian Quarter with Algeria Square. Lunch in the Medina.
