Libya Travel Information


All visitors to Libya require a visa and a valid passport.


Passport/Visa Note: Entry will be refused to those carrying a passport with a valid or expired visa for Israel. Visitors travelling on a visa must register with immigration officials within seven days of arrival (unless on a re-entry visa). Hotel reception offices register their guests automatically. Sufficient funds for the duration of the stay are necessary, as well as proof of return or onward tickets. All foreigners will be refused entry into the country unless they have freely convertible currency up to the equivalent of at least 500LD.
