Discover Togo, 7 Days

Day 1

ARRIVE / CITY TOUR OF LOME
Upon arrival, you will be met, assisted. Visit Independence Square, the national Museum, Lome craftsmen village, Lome Central market- realm of the famous Nana Benz, the fishing harbor, the fetish market, the traditional drugstore for the locals.

Day 2

LAKE TOGO
Depart from Lome and drive through coconut plantations to Agbodrafo. Visit the ancient slave dungeons then continue to Pedakondji fishermen’s village. Arrive at Pedakondji, experience the people's daily activities then continue to Glidji, the spiritual capital of the Guin Group.

Arrive at Glidji; visit the shrines, meet the chief priest of the sacred forest and learn about the ceremony of the raising of the sacred stone. Tour proceeds on to Sewatrsikope; cruise on Togo Lake to Togoville.

Arrive at Togoville; visit ancient German Cathedral , the traditional museum of the King of Togoville, be welcome by the the king and his court. Cruise back to Sewatsikope then drive to your Hotel in Lome.

Day 3

KLOTO TOUR
Depart from Lome for Kpalime. On the way, visit funerary monuments, typical villages and markets, a bush school (if school day ). Tour continues to the foot of Mount Agou, the peak of Togo; coffee and cocoa plantations and arrive in Kpailime. Visit the Kloto Craft Center. Batik, macrame and ceramic.

Drive to the "Campement", an ancient German sanatorium at the top of Mount Kloto. Travel Back to Kpalime for lunch. " Akpesse" folkdance in a village in the real Ewe tradition. Return to Lome for overnight.

Day 4

VOODOO CEREMONY
After breakfast depart from hotel in Lome for Voodoo village. Arrive in village; welcome and libation by the chief priest, the Hounon Witness a real voodoo ceremony in which initiates get into trance at the rythm of drums and ritual songs. Return to Lome for dinner and overnight.

Day 5

SIO RIVER
Depart from Lome for Dzagle village. Arrive at Dzagle; visit funerary monuments and fetish tree and continue to the Yogon village; visit village, meet chief and court. Discuss with chief and court.

Depart from chief palace through fields to Lebe village. Stroll down the Sio river. Romantic cruise to Devego village. Drive back to Lome for dinner and overnight.

Day 6

BEACH/ RELAX/ LEISURE
Today decide on your activities with the assistance of your driver and guide.
