Day 3 GREAT ZIMBABWE

Morning tour of Greater Zimbabwe, built entirely from hand-carved granite blocks, providing conclusive evidence of an African civilization thought to have existed around the year 1200. Afternoon visit the tribal area of the Shona people. Meal(s) Included: Breakfast ^back to top

Day 4 GREAT ZIMBABWE/ MATOBO HILLS

Depart for Matoba Hills, an area of spectacular granite hills and mountains, interspersed with wooded valleys and open grasslands known for its many historical and archeological sites. Afternoon game drive in Matobo National Park. Meal(s) Included: Breakfast ^back to top

Day 5 MATOBO HILLS

Early morning guided walk, followed by breakfast and a game drive. Visit the grave site of Cecil John Rhodes and explore caves containing Stone Age paintings. Visit the Ndebele village to meet the local people and learn about their traditions, lifestyles and beliefs. Later chose from a game drive, exploring more cave paintings or a guided walk. Day 6 MATOBO HILLS/ HWANGE

Day 7 HWANGE

Day 8 HWANGE/ VICTORIA FALLS

Day 9 VICTORIA FALLS
