Kilimanjaro Climb - Via Lemosho Route, 9 Days

Day 1 ARRIVE IN ARUSHA

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, transfer to your hotel in Arusha. ^back to top

Day 2 CLIMB

After breakfast and registration you will be taken to Lemosho glades to begin the climbto the first campsite at Mti Mkubwa (9,200ft). Dinner and overnight at the camp Meal(s) Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner ^back to top

Day 3 CLIMB

Breakfast, leave the Mti Mkubwa campsite for Shira plateau (11,550ft), walking through the moorland. Dinner and Overnight at the Shira I Camp Meal(s) Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner ^back to top

Day 4 CLIMB

Breakfast, hike across the high desert to Shira II camp (12,220ft) with significant acclimatization effects as we climb up the mountain. Meal(s) Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner ^back to top

Day 5 CLIMB

After breakfast, we leave Shira II for Baranco Camp (13,100ft). Overnight Baranco Camp Meal(s) Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner ^back to top

Day 6 CLIMB

After breakfast, we leave Baranco Camp for Barafu Camp (14,910ft). We will pass through the last water drop at Karanga valley on the way up. Overnight Barafu Camp Meal(s) Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner ^back to top

Day 7 CLIMB / DESCENDING

Awake at midnight, after a small snack, start ascending to Uhuru Peak through the Stella point (18,640ft), after reaching the summit, we will head down to Mweka Camp (10,100ft) for dinner and overnight Meal(s) Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner ^back to top

Day 8 DESCEND / ARUSHA
