Day 1 JOHANNESBURG | | On arrival in Johannesburg, you are met, assisted and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day at leisure. ^back to top |
Day 2 JOHANNESBURG - VICTORIA FALLS, ZIMBABWE | | Fly to Victoria Falls this morning and check into your hotel. This afternoon we tour the magnificent Falls, whose plume of spray can be seen from your hotel's terrace. This evening attend the "African Spectacular," a performance of tribal dance. ^back to top |
Day 3 VICTORIA FALLS | | Your morning includes a stop at a local village, followed with visits this afternoon to a crocodile farm and nature sanctuary. A "sundowner cruise on the Zambezi follows later in the day. ^back to top |
Day 4 VICTORIA FALLS - CHOBE NATIONAL PARK, BOTSWANA | | For a thrill the entire family will enjoy, take the time for the optional "Flight of the Angels" over the Falls: a spectacular aerial sightseeing excursion. Back on the ground, drive across the border into Botswana and Chobe National Park. Here you may participate in various game viewing activities, including game drives in open vehicles and river cruises. ^back to top |
Day 5 CHOBE NATIONAL PARK | | You have two full days of game viewing in Chobe National Park, beginning with a game drive early each morning, before the heat of the day forces the animal population into drowsy seclusion. Botswana is one of the few African countries with a growing elephant population, and here, at certain times of the year, it is possible to see several hundred of these slow moving giants in a single day. ^back to top |
Day 7 CHOBE NATIONAL PARK - MOREMI GAME RESERVE | | Today we transfer to the Kasane airstrip for your flight to the Moremi Game Reserve, where your camp nestles near the Piajio Channel. Located in the renowned Mombo concession of the Moremi Game Reserve, plains game and predators are the attraction here with excellent concentration and diversity. Here we participate in activities ranging from game drives, walks and water safaris in mokoros. At day's end we return to our camp for a hot shower and dinner. ^back to top |
Day 8 MOREMI GAME RESERVE | | Moremi, originally the hunting grounds of the Batawana tribe, is a protected sanctuary and a haven for wildlife. Spend the next two days on day and nighttime explorations, in search of the lions, leopards, buffaloes, cheetah's wild dog and elephants. ^back to top |
Day 10 MOREMI GAME RESERVE - OKAVANGO DELTA | | Today you fly to your next camp along the permanent waters of the Delta, your home for the next two nights. Here, in season, you ride mokoros along the papyrus-lined channels of this unique ecosystem, and walk on the islands which dot the waterscape around our camp. ^back to top |
Day 12 OKAVANGO DELTA - MAUN - JOHANNESBURG | | A light aircraft takes you to Maun where you board your flight to Johannesburg, connecting to your departing international flight. ^back to top |
