About Your Tour of Gambia

One of the smallest countries in Africa, The Gambia, is a mostly flat, narrow strip of land on either side following the course of the majestic River Gambia from which it takes its name. The Gambia has much to offer all year round including unsophisticated charm, miles of deserted palm-lined beaches, tropical gardens, nature reserves, quality hotels, craft markets, interesting excursions and the most friendly people on Earth. Although tourism in The Gambia started during the mid 1960s and has been developing ever since ,The Gambia is still many years behind most tourism destinations. This is a positive for those seeking relaxation in an unspoilt destination where the hospitality is second to none.
