Day 1 : Depart

Depart  Miami for overnight flight to  Senegal

 

Day 2: Arrive Dakar

You will be met, assisted and transferred to your hotel.

Morning at leisure followed by afternoon tour of Dakar and vicinity.

Overnight at Pullman Teranga.

Day 3: Dakar

Tour of Dakar and vicinity continues

Overnight at Pullman Teranga.

Day 4: Dakar/ Goree Island /Dakar

Tour of Goree Island and a traditional medical facility.

Overnight at Pullman Teranga.

Day 5: Dakar/Pink Lake/Thies/Dakar

Tour of Pink Lake, Visit Touba and Thies before returning to Dakar.

Overnight at Pullman Teranga.

Day 6: Dakar leave for Ghana today

Arrive in Accra and  begin the tour of Accra including Kwame Nkrumah memorial.

Overnight at Golden Tulip Accra.

Day 7: Accra

Plant Medicine at the Mampong Centre, Aburi Botanical gardens,  city tour .

Overnight at Golden Tulip Accra.

Day 8: Accra

See fantasy coffins of Teshie Nungua

Kokrobite Beach for lunch at Big Millie's backyard. Kokrobite Drumming centre.

Overnight at Golden Tulip Accra.

Day 9: Travel from  Accra to the Volta Region

Fort Prinzenstein, Keta

Cape St Paul Lighthouse, Woe

German Historical Site at Kpando, Ho, Amedzofe, Kpedze.

Overnight at Volta Hotel.

Day 10: Volta Region and Vicinity

Hohoe center for tribal Medicine.  Possible  experience the Fetu Afahye Festival.

Overnight at Volta Hotel.

Day 11: Travel to Kumasi

Manhyia Palace & Museum, Ashanti craft villages .

Overnight at Golden Tulip Kumasi.

Meal(s) Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

 

Day 12: Kumasi and Vicinity

Visits include Kumasi Central Market.

Overnight at Golden Tulip Kumasi.

Day 13: Travel to Cape Coast

Stop at Assin Manso the burial site of an American and a Jamaican, former slaves whose remains were returned for burial.

Overnight at Coconut Grove Resort.

Day 14: Cape Coast and Vicinity

Overnight at Coconut Grove Resort.

Day 15: Return to Accra

Today's shopping will be followed by this evenings cooking workshop.

This evening there is a farewell dinner with entertainment.

Day 16: Depart

After breakfast  transport to the airport for flight in arriving in Miami the same day
