After breakfast, go on a tour of Goree Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Highlights will include a visit to the ethnographic museum, and a lecture by the curator on the history of the Island. In the afternoon return to Dakar and continue the city tour started yesterday.

After breakfast we travel to Pink Lake, a rare natural phenomena caused by a unique combination of micro-organism and a high concentration of salt which gives the lake its pink color. Interact with the women harvesting salt then visit the nearby Fulani Village where you will be welcomed by the Chief and his wives. You may explore the dunes in 4x4 vehicles. Or, you may participate in optional activities including morning service at Zion Church. The church operates a Medical Centre and Orphanage. Today you will tour Cape Town and environs starting with a cable car ride to Table Mountain. The state-of-the-art cable car rotates 360 degrees on its way to the top, offering a panoramic view of the City. At the summit you will enjoy a magnificent view of Cape Town. After Table Mountain you will visit the City Centre, the Company Gardens, the Castle of Good Hope and the Milnerton Lighthouse from where there is a perfect photo opportunity of the magnificent Table Mountain. In the afternoon, you will take the ferry to Robben Island. This historic landmark is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return to Cape Town where this evening’s dinner will be at The Africa Café.
