Day 3 Johannesburg - 14th October, 2010

Enjoy a leisurely morning after breakfast in the hotel and depart for a Johannesburg and Soweto tour visiting: Carlton Centre - Top of Africa: this is a view of Johannesburg from the highest building in Africa. Continue to Soweto: Soweto has a culture of its own. Sites include Nelson Mandela's former home and the Hector Petersen Memorial. Enjoy dinner at a Restaurant in Soweto. After dinner return to the Rosebank Hotel.

Day 4 Johannesburg - 15th October, 2010

After breakfast drive to the south of Johannesburg and pass by the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for girls. Continue to the Apartheid Museum. Learn about the conditions that existed in South Africa before the turn of the century in pre-democratic South Africa. Relive the tales of Apartheid captured within the walls of this museum. This informative experience will leave the visitor in awe of the transformation of a truly diverse nation. Return to the Rosebank Hotel.

Day 5 Johannesburg-Lesedi - 16th October, 2010

After a leisurely breakfast embark on a tour of the Lesedi Cultural Village experiencing various cultural performances and lunch. Lesedi is a Multi-cultural African Village set amongst the pristine Bushveld and Rock Hills. After lunch depart Lesedi for a visit to the Lion and Rhino Park situated in the Cradle of Humankind. Dinner at Moyo.

Day 6 Sun City-Pilanesburg -17th October, 2010

Depart to Sun City where you will explore this world famous resort visiting the Palace of the Lost City. Try your hand at the gaming tables or slot machines. Our motor coach will take us to Pilansburg private game reserve where we will check into Bakubung Bush Lodge in time for the evening game drive. Dinner will be at the lodge

Day 7 Pilanesburg-Joberg-Cape Town - 18th October, 2010

Early morning game drives before returning to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast depart for Johannesburg to arrive at OR Tambo Int. Airport for the early afternoon flight to Cape Town.

Day 8 Cape Town - 19th October, 2010

The first part of the day will be spent on Table Mountain- a cable car will take you to the 1086m-mountain top towering over Cape Town. On your descent continue on a scenic city tour passing the Houses of Parliament, City Hall, Castle and the Slave Lodge. Pass through the Bo-Kaap, Green Market Square and District Six. After lunch (own expense) board the ferry to Robben Island the former political prison [weather permitting] where Nelson Mandela spent 27 years of his life. Dinner at Baia Seafood Restaurant. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 9 Cape Town - 20th October, 2010

Depart on a Cape Winelands tour through superb mountain ranges, vineyards and Cape Dutch homesteads. Visit Paarl and the Nelson’s Creek cellar for a tour and wine tasting. Cheese and wine tasting at Rust en Vrede. Visit Franschoek where the French Huguenots settled in the 1600’s. Travel over the Helshoogte mountain pass. Continue to historic Stellenbosch (Dorp Street and Oom Samie se Winkel). Enjoy lunch at Vergelegen Wine Estate. Wine tasting and buying at the different wine estates. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 10 Cape Town-Victoria Falls - 21st October, 2010

Early morning transfer to the airport for flight to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Arrive at Victoria Falls Airport, meet and greet with your road transfer to the hotel in Victoria Falls. This evening experience a show of traditional music and dance at the African Boma. On arrival you will take your place beside a large open fireplace and the drums start beating out a slow, hypnotic, ancient, rhythm.

Day 11 Victoria Falls - 22nd October, 2010

This morning you will depart to the entrance of the Falls for a 2 hour- guided walking tour of one of nature's supreme masterpieces, the Victoria Falls. You will be given an insight into how this 150-million-year-old phenomenon was created and have the opportunity to take in its awesome, un-spoilt grandeur, which defies description. After the tour of the falls proceed to a guided tour of the African Village. This unique African Village depicts the traditional way of life of Zimbabwe's six main ethnic groups. The art of beadwork and crocheting is displayed by the women whilst the men demonstrate their woodworking skills. Late this afternoon you will be transferred to the riverbank for the departure of the Sundowner Cruise up the mighty Zambezi River.

Day 12 Victoria Falls/Johannesburg/Depart - 23rd October, 2010

Spend the morning at leisure or perhaps visit the Craft Market. Later transfer to Victoria Falls airport for your flight home connecting in Johannesburg.
