Lion, one of the "Big Five" Enjoy a full day of game viewing in open vehicles in search of the "Big Five" namely lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos and leopards. During the heat of the day, stop for a leisurely lunch at one of the rest camps. Return to the camp in time for dinner. Game Drive We again start at dawn and do a thorough morning drive taking in as much as possible on this, your last day in the Park. By this time hopefully you have caught a glimpse of the elusive Leopard. Have a late breakfast and depart thereafter for the scenic drive towards Johannesburg. Explore the Mpumalanga Panorama route, and along the way we visit some breathtaking views and spectacular scenery. Our first stop is God's Window, an overwhelmingly beautiful viewpoint with a 1000m drop into the "Lowveld". At the Bourke's Luck Potholes, the Blyde (Happy) and the Treur (Sad) Rivers meet up and form a magnificent display in the Blyde River Canyon. We stroll back in time, down the historic main street of Pilgrim's Rest. It takes us back to the days when dreamers and desperadoes from around the world converged on this little-known valley in a hectic scramble for the riches that lay beneath its grassy hillsides. Arrive Johannesburg in time for your flight to Cape Town. You will be met, assisted and transferred to your hotel. Entrance to Robben Island Early morning, take the cable car to the top of Table Mountain (weather permitting) for a fabulous view of Cape Town and the Cape Peninsula. Penguin in Cape Town Today's excursion will be a full day scenic tour of the Cape Peninsula. First, visit the famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens before traveling along the coast to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Board the Funicular (optional) to reach the hillcrest; experience the grandeur of the highest sea cliff in the world, the drama of the two mighty oceans meeting to become one and the scenic splendour of the southern most tip of Africa.
