After breakfast you are taken on a tour of the city of Nairobi and environs. You will visit the National Museum , the snake park, experience the traditional dance ( Bomas of Kenya) , visit the Karen Blixen home/museum , the Giraffe Centre. Enjoy lunch at the Rangers Restaurant located within the Nairobi National Park.

After breakfast depart from Hilton Hotel for a journey South along the floor of the Great Rift Valley, pass Narok Climb and the western wall entering Hemingway's country ' "Serengeti plains". Lunch enroute. In the late afternoon arrive in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Game drive enroute to the Lodge , Meals and Overnight at the Mara Hippo Safari Lodge.

After breakfast enjoy a full-day game drive in specially outfitted safari vehicle for maximum comfort and ease of seeing the games. The Mara's landscape is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills which enables the reserve to attract sufficient rainfall to maintain and support a large population of herbivores , together with the predators that follow. Elephant, Lion, Buffalo can be seen with relative ease though luck is needed for spotting Rhino and Leopard that completes the big five as these two animals are very timid and sparsely numbered. Plains game like wildebeest , Zebra and Masai giraffe abound as well as hippos and a wide variety of antelopes including Impala , Dik Dik , hartebeest , Grants Gazelle and Thompson's gazelle among others. All meals and overnight at the Mara Hippo Safari Lodge.

Overnight at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge or Similar

After breakfast depart to Lake Nakuru with a brief stopover at the safari junction . Continue to Nakuru via Lake Elementaita stopping for panoramic and scenic viewing arriving Nakuru in time for lunch followed by a visit to the world famous bird sanctuary and National Park where sightings of over a million flamingoes has been described by Sir Peter Scott as " the world's greatest bird spectacle". There is also an abundance of game to be seen before dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Depart Lake Nakuru after breakfast and drive north via Mt. Kenya, picnic enroute, then proceed to Samburu Game Reserve in time for a short game drive on the way to the camp.
