| Description | | The Paradise Inn was founded in 1996. The original plan for building and exploiting a lodge in this style was the idea of Mr. Paul Bakary Jallow. At first 5 small type huts were built and later the others, which are substantially wider in diameter. The huts are built in the traditional style of the Fula Tribe. They are typical round huts that offer you the rare combination European comfort in the traditional African style. Each room contains a shower, toilet, sink and is equipped with a double bed and small living room. Your room have outside bamboseats and table with a superb wiev over the reserve. ^back to top |
| Amenities & Services | | Relaxation, nature and tranquillity are the keywords of your stay in the Paradise Inn. This unique lodge, situated on the banks of the Tanji River, gives you the opportunity to explore the astonishing birdlife of the famous Tanji Reserve. Even in our delightful tropical garden you can spot more than 100 different kinds of birds.
A 20 minute walk or a 15 minute boat trip will bring you to the unspoiled beaches of Tanji. Take the time for new experiences and enjoy a trip down the river for some creek fishing.
Of course, your holiday would be incomplete if you missed a real nature-safari. Rent a jeep and discover the beating heart of Africa or, for the more active among us, mountain bikes and kayaks will give another dimension to your Gambian journey. ^back to top |
