Menzeh Zalagh Hotel | Location | | The Menzeh Zalagh Hotel Fez was built in 1955 over a superficies of 9 000 m?² in a green area. It is close to Fes's captivating medina, surrounded by gardens in the heart of the residential district of the new part of the city of Fes, fifteen minutes walking from the attractions of the old city.
Fez has rightly been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site. Its walled medina is one of the most intact and impressive medieval cities in the Islamic world and, taken as a whole, it is the architectural highlight of Morocco. Fez also has a French-planned new city (Ville nouvelle), and the contrast between the old and the new sections makes sightseeing all the more fascinating. You truly feel as if you are stepping into the past when you walk through one of the gates to the old medina.
The airport is 10 km away, only a 15 minute drive from the hotel. The train station is 4 km away and the bus station 2 km away. Voltage is set at 200V. Earliest check-in time is at 12:00. The common areas are accessible to wheelchairs. Pets are allowed. Currency exchange is available and there is always a doctor on call.
